Comparing Shaders for MC 1.21
Lately, I've been wanting to test around with some shaders - so why not? Problem? I use a laptop with integrated graphics. Yup.
Fix? Compare 3 popular "potato" shaders and see which is better.
So.. here it is!
If you're wondering why it's out of 6: I limited my FPS to 60, that's all!

Comments - Was not expecting this. Potato shaders look... amazing, with loads of options - however their selling point, Performance, seems to not be the best...
Complementary Unbound
Prediction - I decided to add this for CU because I do think they're going to behave somewhere in between, they have a decent reputation!
Performance - 1.5/6
Rain Performance - I'm not even going to do this for fear my laptop will explode.
Reflection Performance - 1/6
Overall Performance - 1.25/6
Beauty - 5.5/6
Reflection Beauty - 5/6
Overall Beauty - 5.25/6
Overall - 3.25/6
Comments - Geez. That was... surprising. Unbound is the 2nd shader on Modrinth (Potato filter), so I *really* wasn't expecting that. There are MANY options, though!!
Leaderboard
1. Mellow - 4.375
2. Potato - 3.75
3. Complementary Unbound - 3.25
Which means, Mellow wins!
Cool things with Mellow
Mellow's movement blur is surprisingly optimized. Same for the godrays. Basically it, lol.
Thanks for reading, have a good "morning/day/lunch/afternoon/evening/night/midnight/WHY ARE YOU UP RIGHT NOW?!?!"!
Note: Due to all shaders being different, some settings may not be exactly the same.
